An early 19th century academy style drawing of a seated male figure, the figure posed as if reaching for something overhead or pulling a rope.  Well-executed and with an interesting composition.  Presented in a good ebonized, incised and gilded frame. 

 

Condition:  very light creasing to the paper in the upper left hand corner; wear to the frame.  Please refer to the photographs, which are highly representative.
