A handsome French provincial buffet deux corps, the stepped top with tall doors flanked by fluted columns and over a buffet with cylindrical toupie feet. The top and bottom are inlaid with star and circles, the cornice with a conforming outline centered with a multipoint star. The interior of the upper cabinet is fitted with a "chest", which includes 3 drawers, and would have been used to lock away family valuables.
